Everybody vs. Everyone

-They both means "every person"

-They are interchangeable

-Use whichever one sounds best for your particular sentence

Everyon vs. Every one

-when talking about "all people", use everyone. ex)Everyone must sleep.

-when talking about "each", use every one. ex)Every one of the papers has been graded.

Plural or Singular?

*everyone, everybody, no one, nobody, anyone, anybody, someone, somebody

Many grammarians disagree, but in general, indefinite pronouns should be considered singular

Ex) Everyone love him.

       Everyone hates homework.

       Everyone are happy. Everyone is happy.

Subject-Verb Agreement

The problem: English doesn't have a word to refer to a singular noun without a gender

The soution: Use "his or her" 

Ex) Everyone is putting a smile on his or her face. Everyone is puttting a smile on their face. [British:their 사용가능]
